Future of the Workforce in Hospitality

Our principal, Yateendra Sinh, moderated an incisive industry‑roundtable on the future of the hospitality workforce during the BW HOTELIER “Industry Comes Together” event. The discussion focused on how the Covid‑19 pandemic has accelerated change in staffing, talent retention, cost‑management and skill‑development across hospitality. 

In this pivotal session, Yateendra Sinh steered thoughtful commentary around:

• the urgent need to manage manpower costs in light of shrinking revenues and evolving guest expectations, noting that survival without this foresight becomes increasingly difficult.

• the imperative for hoteliers and consultants alike to anticipate change — not simply react — by aligning their workforce strategy with emerging guest behaviours, digital disruption and global health uncertainties.
